En Amoris Laetitia, el Papa Francisco nos dice que: “El espacio vital de una familia se podía transformar en iglesia doméstica, en sede de la Eucaristía, de la presencia de Cristo sentado a la misma mesa” (AL. 15). Esta presentación trata el tema de la familia como iglesia doméstica y el modo en que el don inextinguible de la gracia es experimentado en la vida diaria de las familias.

Fr. Leo Patalinghug is a priest member of a community of consecrated life, Voluntas Dei (The Will of God). He currently resides in Baltimore as the host a weekly international TV show Savoring our Faith on EWTN, a bestselling author, radio and podcast host, and an internationally acclaimed speaker. His unique background as a two-time black belt martial arts instructor, award winning break dancer and choreographer and an awardwinning cook has caught the attention of many media and entertainment outlets, from ABC, PBS, NBC, FOX, the Cooking Channel, and also the Food Network where Fr. Leo defeated the world-famous chef in a competition called, "Throw Down with Bobby Flay!" With an attention for making deep discussions more bite sizable, Fr. Leo and his movement, "Plating Grace" and the non-profit group, "The Table Foundation" is helping to bring out world together one plate of grace at a time.
Fr. Leo cooks up a dish that will bring families to the table, which is the Domestic Church's "altar." Statistics show how a regular family meal can help strengthen family life while also helping them to cope and manage all of the struggles a modern family experience. This interactive, entertaining and very educational conversation will also be presented with a savoury recipe "penne dish" which a few special guests will have a chance to sample!
