Volunteer training

After your volunteer status has been confirmed, you will be invited to attend training, which will provide volunteers with insight into what will happen during World Meeting of Families 2018. All WMOF2018 volunteers must attend the three mandatory training sessions in order to confidently and professionally fulfil their roles.

Attendance at the 3 training sessions: Induction, Job Specific & Venue Specific, will offer volunteers the opportunity to learn about their role, meet their supervisor, see their venue and meet other volunteers.

Every volunteer will also have the opportunity to reflect on the themes of WMOF2018 as part of their training.

Training sessions will be held in Dublin on Saturdays. Currently, the 3 training sessions for volunteers will involve approximately 3-5 hours each. Volunteers will be notified by email in advance of when training is taking place. Training will begin in late 2017 and continue into early 2018.
